Dangerous! you have the bay bridge on one side of you millions of fiesty rock fisherman and crabbers, a rock point jetty thing on the other side and the cold, deep, polluted waters of the bay. You can find anything in the bay from glass to cars man! Good Luck! In the winter the bay is fridged and rough. It can really be scary out there and i have my fair share of stories from being in the bay. During the summer months the bay warms up but it is still polluted and dangerous.
