Drive a couple of minutes out of Geneve - direction Lausanne (Route de Lausanne) - park by the Restaurant du Reposoir. OK for parking except in summer -
Generally Lac Leman has little wind - occasionally, and especially in Autumn, you can get the wind howling down the lake (essentially a regional phenomena) and if it is blowing, it picks up during the day for great late-afternoon sessions.
