road description:
From Cagliari take the road ss130 following directions to Iglesias. after 30-40 km take the extit Domusnovas-Villamassargia-Carbonia and follow for Carbonia. After Carbonia go straight on to S.Antioco. Take the exit Tratalias and follow directions to Giba. After few km you are in Porto Botte.
best wind conditions:
Usually 4-6 Bft. Constant wind turbo bousting of mistral (NW). Mainly winds from N and NW. The bay curves making several directions side-onshore. The windy time stars in April till September

Weather: Wetsuit is necessary as the water temperature is around 16°C, outside air is hot during the summer (28-32°C). Season starts April until end of October but it is possible to kitesurf during the off-season.
Water: Flat water, no tide, perfectly flat near the shore and choppy out on the sea. No waves. Shallow for about 300m. Beach: Sandy beach, nice and soft. There is enough space to launch and land kites safely. The beach is about 40m wide and 2km long. Blue flagged, no other sportif activities (forbidden from the government - with a reserved area on the beach of 1200 mq) just kitesurfing is allowed.
