once u are in lefkas its very easy to get to milos beach.its only 5 minute drive from the city of lefkas..u can even walk..u'll get there in about 20 to 30 minutes...the place is ideal for kite and wind urfing..best time to be around is from mid april to mid september..
choppy water good for freestyle, freewave conditions...apart from the thermal wind, from july to september u also get days when u have a bourini...thats how the locals call the strong nortwest wind...its then when the water transforms! from the usual choppy conditions u get big waves ideal for wave style windsurfing and kitesurfing..
