| | more infos | In the summer, from june, to september, when it s sunny, there is a thermal wind blowing at the end of the afternoon, at about 4pm, to 7pm. If you add a small piece of west wind in the morning you can get 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon.

| | Nice safe spot for everyone. In front of the Casino of L Baule there's a sand bar which can give a few waves when there's a swell. At high tide, it s better for beginners to avoid this spot because the road and wall are not far away at all from , and rom the beach ( less than 50 meters from the sea). On the east side of the bay, in Pornichet, watch out for a few rocks on the beach at low tide, and rocks underwater not far away but invisible at any tide. Moreover, you can find a jetty at the extreme east side of the bay, so careful.
