Sharks? lol
Been going there for years and the only sharks are the ones trying to snake waves!

Pole boarders are cool here
Thats right, I actually enjoyed hanging with and have much respect for the windsurfers that come here. Some top notch waveriders, both sailors and kiters. Advanced riders only due to side-offshore conditions sometimes VERY windy, most people on between 6 and 10 C kites with some light days in between....alot of people riding those funny looking hybrids and bows(not me). Surfboards are the way to go...in fact I didn't break out my twin tip once during the month I was there this past summer. 2 1/2 hour drive on dirt road will tear up your nice whip so take a beater or an OPC(other persons car). Rich kiters and or those with a tight schedule should check-out Solo Sports offerings. Good point for surfing here too and also a wussie wave for the newbies and old codgers. My favorite place in the world.....except for the flies(lots), crappy launch and no wave runner support(have a nice swim with the sharkeys!) This place is absolutely awesome but plan on being scared and crying to yo mama when and if you have a gear failure. the sharky boys are waiting!
