Northwesterlies can be anything from 5-70+ knots and can be gusty - choppy conditions, southerlies are less common but steadier and can also be very strong - long swells.
Easy access along coastline and few sailors, used to be the location for national slalom champs. Mainly a few locals. Good swimming, mountain biking, bush walks and local shops and parks.
