Very long sandy beach. Can learn to kite here, but water gets increasingly choppy throughout the day as the wind picks up in the morning. Great for wave riding, and loads of uninterrupted water to practise on. Not a great deal of kites around just yet as resort only been open from 2003/4.

Can reach in 4 hours from Saigon by bus/taxi. Very very cheap once in resort. Accom from $4/5 a night. Food from $2 per meal... Massges $5 - what you need after a days kiting!
